In Case You Were Wondering What I'm Doing Tomorrow
We're planning on waking at the crack of dawn and taking a most likely dino-jammied Ranger to witness the political process in action. We want him to see that we value civic involvement (from voting to jury duty).
Cool. I kept meaning to ask about today and forgetting. *sigh* I still have a big blog post to make about the Obama rally last weekend. A little stale, and likely to be more so by the time I get it posted. Paper this morning said that there were about 10,000 early voters this year in Monroe County. (Way up from the county's norm.) I suspect almost all of them voted on the Democratic Ticket and I'd bet that the majority of that group voted for Obama. (His people have been way more active than Hillary's on both the "get out the vote" and the "vote early" pushes.)
we felt the same way when we brought our cutie to vote on super tuesday. http://flickr.com/photos/russntara/2245653008/in/set-72157603604506121/
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that great photo! We'll try to remember our camera tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI took my toddler with me when I voted! (I'm in MI so it was an exercise in futility, but we did it anyway...)
ReplyDeleteMake sure he gets a sticker. I vote for the sticker. (JUST KIDDING!)
we took our 3 week old daughter to the Iowa caucus in January, thankfully we somehow remembered to take a picture!
ReplyDeletewe will be voting today today too! obama all the way!
